Recently another romantic comedy movie Do Deewane Seher Mein was released which created a lot of hype during its trailer release but when the actual movie did not score good on cinema. Do Deewane Seher Mein
The movie is a romantic drama directed by Ravi Udyawar who has also directed movie like MOM and Yudhra. Movie is about two people Shashank and Roshni living in Mumbai and both of them are dealing with personal insecurities. Shashank struggles with confidence and public speaking. Whereas Roshni feels insecure about her phyiscal apperance.
Shashank and Roshni met with a arrange marriage setup and slowly falls in love. They eventually broke up due to some misunderstanding but later reunited as the love was deeper than the issues between them. The film talks about accepting imperfection in love and changing for better.
Theater Release – The movie was released at the theaters on 20 Feburay 2026. The first day was full house in the cinema halls but later there only few people at the hall to watch the movie. Despite being produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansalia and a fresh pairing the movie underperformed.
The movie was made under the budget of 30 to 50 crore and the box office collection was only around ₹9.68 crore. This is why the makers decided to make an OTT release of the movie. Movie will be released on Netflix and the release date is yet to be announced. This will release in Mid April which is announced by the makers.

In the theater the movie did not do well and scored 3.5 ratings out of 5. It has a grounded story that grows on you. Although critics claimed that story is slow and lacks strong drama pace. It was too subtle for big screen experience which was it does not impressed a larger audience. Even within the first week the box office collections remained weak, showing low audience turnout in cinemas.
The OTT release can turn out to be succesful for the movie as it will be easily accessible with few appreciation form the viewers. People likes the growing love story for realistic romantic stories. Which is why many viewers called it relatable, feel-good, and emotional.
Final Verdict – The reason why this movie was unsuccessful on cinema as it has low buzz before release and high action movie releasing at the same time. On OTT it can be succesful because the film suits home viewing mood as people like to watch emotional films on OTT rather than theatres.
